The Mixer

This Saturday we will have a day of outside hockey fun honoring our teammate Nilson Mixsooke who departed for heaven in February 2025. We will have a ceremonial puck drop and presentation before the 10:00am Moose game. 'Mixer' was the consummate Moose player who gave it his all in every game and on every shift. Fun, witty, gritty and dedicated to his teammates Nilson coined the phrase "Moose Forever".

Nilson was right, as we will never forget the positive impact he had on Moose Hockey Alaska, but most of all with his beautiful family.

As we spend a fun day together we will also be supporting Jillian and the Mixsooke boys' future education via a GoFundMe and through the purchase of The Chill items including hats and T's with all proceeds going to the cause.
